All the diseases originate from the negative mental patterns of a person. When a child is born, he is born with predispositions to certain negative  mental patterns, which are hereditary, & due to those predispositions he suffers from diseases of first layer like skin eruptions. Those predisposition has been called by Hahnemann as latent psora. The child starts acquiring those negative mental patterns, due to the circumstances in which he grows & consequently the disease also starts progressing to higher layers.

When we administer homeopathic remedy to a person having exactly similar negative patterns as that of the remedy, the negative patterns of that person are neutralized in the same way as diamond cuts diamond, & minus multiplied by minus becomes plus. Consequently the person is cured of all diseases. In one of the articles to come I will discuss how the remedy acts, if it is not exactly similar.

As mentioned in my article 'How to find a simillium (a homeopathic remedy) without any failure and with ease!', when we take all the present symptoms of a patient who is on a particular layer of the disease and prescribe him a remedy, it seems that totality of the symptoms have been achieved and the remedy selected is Simillimum, because we presume the symptoms of that particular layer to be all the symptoms of the patient & we forget that we have not taken into account the suppressed symptoms of other lower layers.

So when we administer that remedy to a patient in lower potencies, it does not act because it is not a Simillimum, so we administer it in higher potencies. By administering a remedy in higher potencies a number of times, it seems that the disease of that particular layer has been cured, but so called cure is generally effected at the cost of progression of disease to some higher layers in a dangerous form, which comes out after some time. I will explain this theory  in detail in articles to come. Here the disease in the man has been seemed to be cured rather than man in disease, which is against the Hahnemann's law of curing the man in disease and not disease in the man.

If the remedy is simillimum, it will act even in lower potencies like 3 C. The lower potencies  are gentle in action & does not cause much aggravation while the higher potencies cause un-bearable   aggravation to the patient. As submitted in previous article the idea of using a remedy in potency was to reduce the un-necessary suffering caused by crude form of the remedy. This fact is clear from the following lines of Article 'Hahnamann's Search for the prefect potency written by Richard H. Pitcairn:-

Hahenemann always prescribed lower potencies of the remedy. On the other hand Kent prescribed higher potencies.

This fact is clear from the following lines of Peter Howell 'Honorary Research Associate in the History of Medicine, Staffordshire University, UK':-

"We can deduce from all this(information)  that to truly call oneself a Hahnemannian homoeopath one would likewise have to use potencies 12, 18, 24 and 30 for at least three quarters of one's overall prescribing. Those homoeopaths who claim to be Hahnemannian, while mainly using 30, 200 and 10M, are quite clearly exaggerating their similarity to the prescribing habits of Hahnemann himself. And as we have seen, they are in fact much closer to Kent than anyone else."

He further writes:-

"but he (Hahnemann) stuck by his assertion that 30 was 'high enough for any homoeopath' "

"Hahnemann himself felt, in 1829, the urgent necessity of a limit in potentisation and declared the ultimate degree of dilution to be the 30th centesimal potency."

"He(Hahnemann) often repeated remedies very frequently. He abandoned the centesimal potencies mainly because of their power to produce aggravations. He suspected that the higher dilutions (above 30) would increase aggravations and he was very cautious about them. He used two remedies at once when he felt it necessary. He treated most symptoms as they came up."

"How anxious he(Hahnemann) was at that time to set a limit to the over-enthusiasm of his students, is best shown by the following letter to Dr Schréter, of Lemberg, of the 12 Sept 1829:

A New Study, A New Perspective, A New Concept

How to find a Simillimum without any failure and in an easy way? To answer this question, I came up with a formula. Before knowing that formula, it is very much necessary to know the new theory and mechanism behind that formula. So I will discuss my new theory and mechanism behind said formula, in step by step, in context with the homeopathic material we already have.

So this is the first article in series of articles coming ahead.

We make every effort to reach to the Simillimum in order to cure a patient according to his individuality, by taking a good case, but we too often are not able to find a Simillimum. What are the causes due to which we cannot find a simillimum? I have come forward with an answer to this, in this article.

In order to find the answer, let me start from the point from which disease originates in a healthy person. Generally when a disease originates in a healthy person, it originates from first layer which is 'Ectoderm', then the disease progresses to second layer which is 'Endoderm', then to third layer which is 'Mesoderm Connective Tissues', then to fourth layer which is 'Organs of Mesoderm', then to fifth layer which is 'Endocorine', then to sixth layer which is 'Neural Plate' and finally to seventh layer which is 'Changes in Genetic Codes'.

When a disease progresses from lower layer to higher layer, the most of the symptoms which were present on the lower layer are suppressed by the symptoms of the new higher layer. So when the disease reaches on its seventh layer, the symptoms of first layer to sixth layer are suppressed, i.e.the symptoms of first layer are suppressed by symptoms of second layer, symptoms of second layer are suppressed by the symptoms of third layer and so on till the disease reaches on its seventh layer.

When a patient, say for example, who is at fifth layer, comes to us at the time of his first diagnose, we take all his symptoms which are present on that day. So who knows what symptoms were present at previous four layers? Totality of the symptoms may be achieved only when we collect all the symptoms of all layers. So when we take present symptoms of the patient, who is on a particular layer, we are able to take some symptoms(in spite of taking all the symptoms of that layer), out of total symptoms. How the totality of the symptoms can be achieved by taking some symptoms of the patient, present on a particular layer?

When we take all the present symptoms of a person, who is on a particular layer, and find a remedy according to those symptoms, it seems to us that totality of the symptoms have been achieved and we administer that remedy presuming to be Simillimum but as it is not Simillimum so it does not act.

So to get near to the Simillimum, the theory of taking into consideration, the constitutional states, general traits & thermal states  of a person in disease, came into existence because these(the constitutional states, general traits & thermal states of a person in disease) do not change with progression of disease from one layer to other. These are always present when a person is in a non-diseased state or he is in a particular layer of disease. So taking the constitutional states, general traits and thermal states of a person in disease, in consideration, brings us more near to Simillimum.

My next article is 'whether we are Hahnemannian Homeopath or Kential homeopath with regard to use of potencies?'
